Abdul Khalique is MyTAG’s newest sales team member, taking on the London Account Manager role. Abdul brings in 10 years of experience in technology sales, and we’re extremely excited to have him on board to work with our existing and new clients alike, bringing innovation and enthusiasm to his newest challenge.

What is your favourite MyTAG product and why?

“My favourite has got to be our Postroom service. It’s a fantastic, exciting product with easy to use and logical features, plus it always helps that all of our clients love the new innovation and give us great feedback!”

What do you like about working for MyTAG?

“Whenever I need anything, everyone is always here to help. I love the family feel running through the company. The door is always open at MyTAG for anybody who needs help, and people like Zoe HowellRobert Kirk and Stacey Owen has made settling in easy. As a previous salesperson, I felt like just a number, but at MyTAG, I’m somebody.”

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“I really enjoy working with Robert Kirk, I go to him with a lot of my queries. We really bounce off each other! It’s grown to us being good friends and whatever I need, he’s there for me.”

What country would you most like to visit with team MyTAG?

“I could spend months out in Thailand with MyTAG! I love it there, it’s the best place in the world.”

We wanted to introduce you to…

Andy Jarrett, MyTAG’s co-founder and second employee, who has progressed from developer to now Managing Director in October 2023 and has been central to our growth and the brains behind all IT-related areas.

His exceptional leadership and deep understanding of MyTAG have guided us towards innovation and what is now over 20 services across the MyTAG platform.

Now, as MyTAG embarks on the next chapter of its growth journey, Andy’s insights are more valuable than ever. With the team expanding and exciting partnerships on the horizon, Andy’s vision and expertise are poised to set new standards in the industry.

What is your favourite product and why?

“There are many, for multiple reasons. There’s Key Management because it started MyTAG. The second one we built was Proof of Presence, and the essential service is that it underpins a lot of the products we do. I like MySignIn; it was an idea of Stephanie G, our Sales Director, and she championed it. It’s a low-key product that fills such an essential space; it serves the clients’ needs and represents the style of new service we like to provide. Moreover, being greener underpins everything we do here, highlighting the importance of completely removing paper from our industry and improving existing systems.

Why Andy loves working with us:

“I’ve worked in large corporations, where I was merely a seat at a desk, able to see the changes that needed to be made but without any real power to enact them. During that time, Mike and I were achieving significant success with our apps across Europe, which was truly exciting. So, when Mike gave me that life-changing phone call, I joined him in starting MyTAG, and we began building everything from the ground up. I’ve been involved in every system we’ve introduced, laying the foundations for all our products. What’s fantastic is that, as a team, Mike and I have created something that people use every day.”

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“As clichéd as it may sound, I must give credit to everyone, we truly are defined by our collective efforts. However, I particularly want to acknowledge Mike George and John Charles. Together, the three of us formed the core of MyTAG, having been instrumental from the very beginning. Without our effective collaboration, we couldn’t have developed the company or products we have today.”

What country would you take MyTAG to for the summer party?

“For me, the choice is obvious; Mexico stands out, particularly the Yucatán Peninsula. Away from Cancun, you’re surrounded by stunning beaches and the captivating Mayan history, which is truly breathtaking. This region is a remarkable part of the world, home to some of the largest underwater rivers globally, many of which are yet to be fully explored.”

We would like to introduce you to…

Ayo O, our newest MyTAG team member and part of our installation team! Ayoola comes with a huge amount of customer services experience and strives to make each installation efficient and bespoke to the client. Ayoola has joined Stephanie G’s team and is working closely alongside Samuel M, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on board. 

What is your favourite product and why?

“I would say Proof of Presence is my favourite product! It’s a great system to use for security teams to prove the hard work they’ve completed. I really like how the system is laid out, works so smoothly and is always fun to set up”.

Why Ayoola loves working with us:

“I really love the exposure I get from meeting our clients, there’s a big variety of products at hand so you’re not just sticking to one thing every day. It’s a great place to work, where there’s so much variety, but strong principles are applied to every product, I’ve learnt so much. You don’t hit the ceiling with MyTAG, the sky really is the limit”.

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“I would say I really enjoy working with everyone here, but I would have to shout out Samuel M. He’s always giving me points to improve and take the installation to the next level.

Stephanie G has given me such a great opportunity here at MyTAG, I really enjoy working with everyone. There’s no bad eggs and everyone is on the same wavelength! If I ever need advice on anything, I know I can go to Stephanie. The fact I’ve been able to make connections with everyone at the company shows she knows what she’s doing. To be honest though, if I could give everyone a shoutout I really would”.

What country would you most like to visit with Team MyTAG?

“I’d want to take everyone to Portugal, one thing I liked is that everyone is so welcoming, it takes you away from the intensity of London, it’s the perfect getaway”.

Introducing Chad Corbin, our US Sales Director at MyTAG. With a rich background in sales across various sectors, Chad brings a wealth of experience to our team. During his tenure at Anixter, Chad discovered MyTAG and recognised its immense potential within the FM sector in the US.

His extensive experience has paved the way for exciting opportunities, such as securing contracts for prominent projects throughout New York. Chad has also spearheaded numerous successful contracts on a multinational scale, with recent triumphs extending to projects from the US to India.

With Chad at the helm of our US sales division, MyTAG continues to thrive and expand its footprint in the global market, delivering innovative solutions and driving unparalleled growth in the industry.

What is your favourite product and why?

“I would say my favourite product is Proof of Compliance. Our patented software enables our customers to authenticate that compliance checks on everything from mechanicals to critical fire and life safety equipment are being performed. We recently completed a project with a local university that is using POC for inspections on their emergency phones across campus. I am proud that MyTAG plays a vital role in keeping our communities safe.”

Why do you love working for MyTAG?

“What I love most about working for MyTAG is that we are continuously innovating. We are never satisfied with “good enough” and are always willing to listen to our customers and team members for suggestions of how to make MyTAG a better solution.”

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“Everyone on the team are amazing, but I would have to single out Peter O as the person I most enjoy working with. He leads our support team and is my go-to for any questions I have about MyTAG. Peter is not only efficient and incredibly responsive, but he also seems to have an inexhaustible amount of patience and kindness.”

What country are you taking MyTAG to for the summer party?

“I would like to take the team to the Apulia region in southern Italy. It is an area rich in history and culture, and the food and wine that are grown there is incredible. The perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.”

Georgina George, leading our development team on some of our newest innovation MyVisitor, MyPostroom, MyAcademy and MyBookingBay. Georgie brings a creative element to MyTAG’s development team, working closely in particular with Bethan ReesZoe Howell and Andy Jarrett to make sure we have new innovation, design and features for all of our products.

What is your favourite product and why?

“My favourite solution at MyTAG is MyVisitor, I built and designed MyVisitor from scratch and has been receiving great feedback. I feel really proud of it and fills a gap in our services that clients have been searching for. With loads of really exciting upcoming updates, there is so much to look out for.”

Why Georgie loves working with us?

“The development team I’m on is really supportive, it’s a really great place to grow. I’ve enjoyed building and designing such creative service to fit our clients needs. MyTAG really allows its employees to grow in the areas that excite them.”

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“I’ve chatted to Andy Jarrett every day since I started, and he feels like family at this point. I just genuinely really enjoy working with him, and he’s been so supportive, allowing me to grow in the business. He’s really warm and actually cares about all of us at MyTAG.”

What country would you most like to visit with team MyTAG?

“Sorrento in Italy would be my choice, it is really beautiful. I can see team MyTAG sitting outside at sunset and sipping cocktails. The city is very lush and green, and we could leap into the sea when we’re hungover.”

Mike George, our CEO, started MyTAG’s journey in 2012, initially focusing on pet tagging solutions. His pivot to a broader vision stemmed from a serendipitous encounter on a train, which inspired him to create something innovative for everyday use in the security and real estate world. This led to the inception of our Asset Management and Lone Worker solutions!

Mike brought on board Andy Jarrett and John Charles to turn his ideas into reality, with Andy focusing on IT and John overseeing operations. Mike’s passion for innovation and tailored collaboration with clients has been the cornerstone of MyTAG. 

This approach not only laid the foundation for our success but also cultivated a culture of empowerment within the company, encouraging everyone to innovate and contribute to the development of new ideas. 

What is your favourite product and why?

“I’d have to say our Daily Occurrence Log. It’s a great product because it removes paper and changes the productivity game for security teams. It also gives building-wide productivity updates, which allows security and FM teams to understand the improvements or issues being raised through year-on-year trend analysis. Not only that, but it’s also personal pride for me that Stephanie G was the person who originated the idea that’s now become one of the cornerstones of our business”

Why Mike still loves running MyTAG:

“I’ve witnessed repeatedly younger people coming on board with us and then being promoted within the business. It’s allowed us to grow organically and authentically without the need for advertisement. Also, knowing that our clients trust us, and trust us to deliver quality services. When I see a client write “MyTAG – Always the premium go-to provider”, it really makes me feel that we’ve accomplished what we’ve set out to achieve – where customer satisfaction is paramount.”

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“I really enjoy working with Stacey O., who started as an administrator with us and over the years has showcased her expertise in our operations and all things MyTAG and have seen her develop into our Operations Director. She’s worked so hard in securing our new offices and fitting them out, her influence has allowed us to grow as a business!
I also love working with Georgina George, she came in from the start to run part of the development team and support with some of the very first installations. This has set the standards of what we now continue to do today.”

What country would you take MyTAG to for the summer party?

“I would take everybody to Maui, in the Hawaiian Islands. We’d have a grand beach party, where you can see whales and turtles, the lot. Kaanapali is the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen, so I think the MyTAG family will be happy.”

Robert Kirk, who many of you may recognise from running London’s installation team! Robert has now taken another promotion and joined our sales team as MyTAG’s corporate account manager, focusing mainly but not limited too, Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester. He has been a key member of our team for a few years now, and we couldn’t be happier to work with him at MyTAG.

What is your favourite product and why?

“MyBookingBay is my favourite, when it was first built I was heavily involved in the business analysis of this service and I worked closely with the client to build it to their specifications, so it’s the product I’ve grown closest to. I really enjoyed understanding the needs of a new product and tailoring it to our client’s expectations and seeing their satisfaction afterwards”.

What do you like about working for MyTAG?

“I love the family atmosphere of the company. The clients we work with are amazing and make my job really enjoyable. There’s always something new happening at MyTAG and I really love that element, especially new innovation! For the kind of person I am, it keeps me engaged and keeps me challenged”.

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“Loyalty wise, I’d have to go with Zoe Howell, she’s my right-hand woman. She’s always got a story to tell, and I’ve never known anyone to talk so much in my life, she’s so great to work with. Abdul Khalique has to be a very close second though”.

What country would you most like to visit with team MyTAG?

“Australia, it’s the best place on earth. You’ve got the beach, the city, it’s got everything, in particular Sydney or Melbourne I loved!”

Recently described as “Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and a credit to MyTAG”, Samuel M has been impressing both clients and MyTAG alike during his first year as our Systems Installer. Read below to hear a little more about Sam:

What is your favourite product and why?

“My favourite service would have to be Proof of Presence. The reason is the opportunity to go around the building and see the real-world application of the product. I also find being exposed to the clients and sites a great opportunity for me, as I love the variety of day-to-day.”

Why Sam loves working with us:

“Honestly, I love the job; it’s absolutely a dream for me. The fact that I’m able to interact with different clients daily keeps things fresh. The variety means I’m all over London, interacting with brilliant clients and delivering great products.”

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“There are a lot of people I want to pick for this, but I would have to choose Ayoola Olarewaju. We work together every day; he’s literally my brother at this point. Such a lovely guy, he gets things done and he’s down to earth. He’s great with the clients too; I don’t have a bad word to say about him!”

What country would you take MyTAG to for the summer party?

“I would have to say Jamaica, to be honest. There’s an area called Ocho Rios where the vibes are absolutely incredible. You get different people from across the world coming together for a good time, so I’m sure MyTAG would love it.”

As the IT Systems Administrator at MyTAG since September 2021, Sean Seddon has been an integral part of our technological advancement and security. His expertise spans a broad range of critical areas, including IT hardware support, overseeing penetration testing, cloud platform administration, and information security, not to mention his pivotal role in first-line support. Sean’s dedication and skill set have been instrumental in safeguarding and optimising MyTAG’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that the company stays ahead in the fast-paced digital world.

What is your favourite MyTAG product and why?

“Probably our classic service – Asset Management. Since I joined MyTAG, it’s a product that has continually been valuable and something we are constantly looking at and improving. It’s enjoyable to see such a dynamic service that is so versatile with its solutions.”

Why Sean loves working with MyTAG:

“I started in September 2021, leaving temporarily and re-joining in September 2023. I love how quickly MyTAG can adopt innovative solutions; it’s at the forefront of emerging technology. It’s very pleasant to work here; you can always rely on anyone to help, so I really enjoy the collaborative nature.”

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“I have to shout out Stacey O., who has been my mentor since joining and has always made me and others feel welcome and comfortable. Not only is she a good mentor, but she is also always pushing me to work harder and to become the best version of myself.”

What country would you take MyTAG to for the summer party?

“I’d have to take everyone to Paris. It’s a beautiful environment; I love the older architecture but also the more modern aspects interwoven into the city. It’s a great blend of old and new. It’s similar to MyTAG in a sense; we work with a lot of older buildings but attach modern technology, so I think it’s a good choice.”

Stacey O. has been an integral part of Team MyTAG for nearly eight years. In her recent promotion to Operations Director at our head office, she not only manages ISO 27001 standards, but is also at the forefront of enhancing our environmental practices. Stacey is actively working on how we, as a company, can improve our environmental footprint, from suppliers to clients, through the pursuit of ISO 14001 certification later this year. We deeply appreciate Stacey’s extensive knowledge and unwavering support, which are vital to MyTAG’s ongoing success.

What is your favourite product and why?

“I have a soft spot for our Key and Asset management service – easy, effective, and the first I embraced nearly 8 fantastic years ago! It’s like the Company’s version of a timeless classic”.

“I find joy in working for MyTAG, because it’s not just a Company; it’s a dynamic family where work feels like play, and every challenge is an exciting adventure”.

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“I enjoy working with everyone at MyTAG. However, if I had to mention a few…I would certainly name our wonderful, well-loved Help & Support Manager Peter O’Shea, the very talented and Tech Savvy Sean Seddon and Andrea Horn, my very own right-hand woman; keeping me in line and full of laughter”.

What country would you most like to visit with team MyTAG?

“Picture this: The MyTAG crew conquering roller coasters in theme parks, enjoying breathtaking scenery, and soaking up the perfect warmth with a refreshing Gin and tonic or Cocktail – a dream destination full of thrills, beauty and just the right temperature – I would host the MyTAG summer party in The Netherlands”.

We are thrilled to introduce Stephanie G, our recently appointed Sales Director at MyTAG. In an inspiring journey of professional growth and excellence, Steph has ascended from the role of Account Manager to Sales Director within just seven short years. Her trajectory within MyTAG is a testament not only to her dedication, but also to her innate ability to foster meaningful relationships with our clients.
She possesses a talent for understanding our client’s needs, a skill that has consistently propelled our success and solidified our standing in the market. Her commitment shines in every interaction, from developing new products to ensuring clients receive the utmost care.

What is your favourite product and why?

“I’m going to break the rules here and name a couple. Firstly, I’m choosing the Daily Occurrence Log because I played a large part in its creation, and the client for whom we made it was really happy with the tailored output. However, I also love MyBroadcast; it’s a solution that the market was looking for, and Bethan Rees spent a long time researching and putting together a solution with clients to understand exactly what they needed. I think she designed a solution that is far more bespoke and cost-effective than other solutions on the market. I also love MyVisitor, championed by Georgina George. She noticed the number of complicated products out there and strived to create a really good-looking and simple-to-use solution that we’re trialling at the moment. For International Women’s Day, it’s amazing to be able to highlight just a few of our products that have amazing female product leads on them!”

Why Stephanie loves working with us:

“I feel we have embedded trust here at MyTAG, there is a clear upward trajectory, and I have seen that time and time again with our new members of staff. Driven people are what make up MyTAG, and there are a lot of creative people here who cultivate excitement with our new innovations, and seeing the value of the real-world implications is rewarding for my team. Being able to hire a team who never imagined they would work in NFC innovation, and how dedicated and excited they are, is a beautiful thing.”

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“I truly have the best team; however, a special shout-out goes to Zoe H.! Zoe is the epitome of a grafter; she is exceptionally good at adapting to new environments, and it’s been great to see her grow, come rain or shine. I’ve been missing my OG Bethan Rees, she’s my go-to when I need to mind map, catch up and is the most organised person you’ll ever meet, together we’re the best team. She’s currently on maternity leave with her beautiful new daughter.”

What country would you take MyTAG to for the summer party?

“I’m going to go with Vietnam, the food is incredible, super fresh and tasty. A hot Pho is the best hangover cure ever! The scenery, like Ha Long Bay, is beautiful, and the people are wonderful.”

We would like to introduce you to… 

Zoe Howell has been a valued member of the MyTAG team since she started here, nearly three years ago. She began her journey in the installation team, progressed to become the team leader of Installation UK, and has recently taken on the role of project manager for our development side. Collaborating closely with Georgina George and Andy Jarrett, Zoe is loved by both clients and colleagues alike, and her dedication to and belief in the MyTAG services and mission are truly inspiring!

What is your favourite product and why?

“My favourite product is Asset Management – the first product MyTAG started with. I think it’s really helpful in the real world, and it just mitigates a lot of issues on-site. I never realised when I started with MyTAG in the security industry the amount of money that is lost if you lose one key! It’s got real-world applications that really help businesses, and I love seeing the results from installation”.

Why does Zoe love working with us?

“We all care about each other and I think it makes a massive difference. I’ve worked at companies where I don’t feel valued, and the hard work I do goes unnoticed. The people I’m working with are invested in me and care about my growth. It matters if I’m not there, I know it’ll make a difference, so I feel like I’ve struck gold”.

Who’s someone you enjoy working with?

“Of course, a shout-out to Robert Kirk! However, someone I’ve recently enjoyed working with is Liam Young from our sales support team. He’s so positive and helpful and always goes above and beyond with his job. He’s genuinely a really nice guy, good at what he does, and makes my days brighter”.

What country would you most like to visit with team MyTAG?

“I think Lanzarote, It’s really relaxed and has nice slow vibes but still with lots going on for a dance of course! Lanzarote is a volcanic island and has beautiful black beaches, would love to go back with Team MyTAG”.
